Delete your account in the game
The quickest way, and it takes effect immediately:
- Open HydroValve and tap PROFILE on the title screen.
- Tap DELETE ACCOUNT, then YES — DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm.
You will be returned to the sign-in screen. The deletion cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or can't sign in, email admin@absolutenoobstudio.co.uk with the subject "HydroValve account deletion" and tell us how you signed in (Apple, Google, or guest) and the display name you used on the leaderboards. Because Apple sign-in can hide your email behind a relay address, please write from the address you used for the account if you can; otherwise we may ask a question or two to confirm it is yours. We aim to complete requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication account: the player ID, display name, and the email address shared by Apple or Google (if any).
- Every world-leaderboard entry stored under your player ID, in every mode including daily shifts.
Local progress on your device (personal bests, achievements, campaign saves, statistics) is not affected — delete the app to remove it. Data held by Google AdMob or RevenueCat is governed by their own policies; see our privacy policy. Firebase may hold residual copies briefly in backups before they are purged.
